Samba Connection

This will enable your linux connection to windows OS and share files under Microsoft Network (My Network Places).
1. Edit /etc/samba/smb.conf and uncomment [#] the workgroup = Mygroup
encrypt passwords = yes
smb passwd file = /etc/samba/smbpassword
